Steps
- 1
Soak the oats (optional but smoother)
If you have 10 minutes: combine ½ cup rolled oats with 1 cup milk in the blender and let it sit for 10 minutes. This softens them so they disappear when blended.

Add the rest
Add 1 cup frozen mixed berries, ½ frozen banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp honey.
- 3
Blend long
Blend on high for 60 seconds until completely smooth. The oats should be invisible. Scrape and blend again if any chunks remain.

Coach's notes
- Oats are the secret to lasting energy. Whole grain, soluble fiber, slow carb release.
- Skip the soak if you're rushing. Just blend 20-30 seconds longer.
- Berries give you anthocyanins (recovery antioxidants) without needing supplements.
