Turkey + cheese whole-grain wrap

  • Cheddar slices1 each
  • Romaine lettuce0.5 cup
  • Baby carrots0.5 cup

    Lay it out

    Spread 1 whole-grain tortilla flat. Add a thin layer of mayo or hummus across the center third.

    Build the layers

    Stack 3 oz sliced turkey, 1 slice cheddar, ½ cup chopped romaine, and a few baby carrots cut lengthwise.

    Roll tight

    Fold in the short ends, then roll from the bottom tightly. Cut diagonally in half. Pack with a side of fruit.

Coach's notes

  • Whole-grain tortilla matters. White flour wraps disappear from the body in an hour.
  • Cold turkey is fine in a lunchbox until lunch with a small ice pack.
  • Skip the mustard if it makes the tortilla soggy by lunchtime.
